KING KHALED INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT DCP

New district cooling and heating plants related to King Khaled Airport.
The chiller plants are 15,000TR (3x5000TR chiller module) and 20,000TR (4x5000TR chiller module) respectively.
The plant pumping concept is a primary – secondary pumping. The heating plant is 5,400 BHP (4×1350 BHP) Producing high pressure steam.
Chilled water and steam are distributed from plants via tunnel to serve buildings requiring these services.

KING KHALED INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT DCP

A district cooling system executed in 1981 with a capacity of 15,000TR to serve the airport facilities utilization 3 industrial electric driven centrifugal drillers each of 5,000 TR.
Evaluation covered existing plant & network case & efficiencies of the possibility of future expansion.

JABAL OMAR DCP

The project consists of a DCP providing 55,000 Refrigeration Tonnage chilled water supply to surrounding buildings in Jabal Omar Development.
The cooling plant employs water- cooled electric driven centrifugal chillers and Variable primary flow pumping scheme located in the Basement levels of a Hotel Tower, distribution of chilled water to various buildings via a network of piping system that runs either underground or within a tunnel.

AL MADINAH CENTRAL AREA DCP

A 30,000 Refrigeration Tonnage plant to serve chilled water to Al Medina central area hotel buildings, the plant consists of water-cooled electric driven centrifugal chillers associated with a thermal Energy Storage Tank of 5,000 TR and a distribution chilled water network utilizing the existing service culvert located in the central area.

DANET DCP

The intent was to locate both the district cooling plant and health club on plot (P35) within Danet District, the health club occupied one complete floor associated with a parking level while the cooling plant was allocated in 3 floors serving Danet district with 30,000 Refrigeration Tonnage through water-cooled electric driven centrifugal chillers and a variable primary flow pumping scheme.
